Session 3

Quick feet, Ball Mastery and Coordination Training

Footwork and Coordination are essential for footballers and soccer players. Developing these skills will allow you to move better on the pitch, have more control over your body through different movements, and improve your ball handling.

Workout reps/sets:

1. Forwards and Backwards Shuffle – 3 sets of 30 seconds

2. Ladder Exercises

3 reps of each exercise 3. Ball Mastery Exercises – 30 seconds each exercise

4. Fast Feet Square – 10 reps on of each exercise on the outside of the square, 20 seconds of freestyle inside the square between each exercise.

Complete the workout and repeat. Master the movement the 2nd time round challenge yourself with speed.

If you don’t have cones use cans of food. Improvise with the ladders or buy from amazon at £9.99


You will need a either a laptop, iPad or phone to watch the sessions while you train. Set it up so the video session is played at full screen.

Add some structure to your training. Choose how often you wish to train – once a day, every other day, it’s up to you. Then choose a time of day then stick to it and maintain it.
